Emily's Poem #25 - "Wolf"

I am the wolf

The wolf who hunts and preys on other people's weaknesses

I am the huntress

The huntress who stalks and observes silently, but is only ever a few steps behind

I am the predator

The predator who will kill without mercy to satisfy my hunger

But I am the wolf

The wolf who feels lonely without the pack

But I am the huntress

The huntress who works hard and is ambitious in her goals

But I am the predator

The predator who will fight to protect those I love

Yet, all they see is the wolf,

the huntress, the predator,

And maybe, they're not wrong

Maybe I am just a wolf.
